Major Field of Interest

The genetic control of cell fate specification during animal development

Current Research

Identifying and characterizing the genes that regulate the correct timing of cell fate decisions during larval development in C. elegans; characterizing how circadian genes regulate animal development; and haracterizing how circadian genes and developmental timing genes are involved in cancer formation.
