Haikus
Some of my favorite ecology haikus written by graduate students in BIOL 5024:
Trees are very tall they reproduce by seed fall then grow a long time
Symbiosis in organisms for their good not bad but sometimes
Nature – non-random? Neutral models in tandem tell all Earth’s secrets
Microbiota Prokaryotes and big worms in my gut yummy
Paleontolo- gy has too many sylla- bles. Fossils are cool.
Clements and Gleason should have tried to get along Gleason walked away
