"Life's a journey not a destination" ~Aerosmith

I am a senior at Virginia Tech, and will be graduating with a Biology degree this December.  I joined the Sible Lab January 2002, and have moved from doing dishes and other grunt work to doing experiments on my own.  I am currently wrapping up a project that was started by Matt Petrus concerning the effect of XChk1 on Wee1 and Cdc25A pathways in Xenopus laevis embryos.  I enjoy doing Western Blot Protein Analysis the best.  Recently I've been working with RNA and Northern Blots, and helping Tony with his tissue cultures.
After graduation, I hope to be accepted into Virginia Tech's Grad School Program and continue my work in Dr. Sible's Lab.
