Introductory botany. Form, growth, function, reproduction, and ecological adaptations of major groups of plants.

BIOL 2314: PLANT SCIENCES LABORATORY

Multimedia laboratory explorations of ecology; growth, development, regulation, and multicellular construction; reproduction, systematics and evolution; and major groups of plants in their life contexts.

BIOL 3204: PLANT TAXONOMY

Systematic survey of vascular plants, emphasizing identification, terminology, classification, evolutionary relationships.

BIOL 4204: DEVELOPMENTAL PLANT ANATOMY

Microscopic structure of cells, tissues, and tissue systems of vascular plants in relation to growth, development, and physiology. Writing intensive.

BIOL 4324 (GEOL 4324): PLANT EVOLUTION
