  1. Earn a grade of "C" (2.0) or better in each of the following courses:

    BIOL 1005 and BIOL 1006 General Biology
    OR
    BIOL 1105 and BIOL 1106 Principles of Biology
    PLUS
    LAB SEQUENCES (Choose one sequence):
    BIOL 1015 and 1016 General Biology Lab
    OR
    BIOL 1115 and 1116 Principles of Biology Lab
    OR
    BIOL 1125 and 1126 Biological Principles Lab
  1. Successfully complete one course from each group:
    2. Group 1
    BIOL 2004 Genetics
    BIOL 2104 Cell and Molecular Biology
    Group 2
    BIOL 2804 Ecology
    BIOL 2704 Evolutionary Biology
  2. Successfully complete two Biological Sciences electives (3000 level or higher, at least 7 credit hours--one with inclusive or linked lab)
  3. Earn an in-minor QCA of 2.0000 or better. The in-minor QCA is computed using all Biological Sciences courses taken at Virginia Tech.
